Naturally Fresh, Inc, manufacturer of Naturally Fresh® Dressings, Sauces, and Dips has announced that they have signed a licensing agreement with Hooters of America to manufacture Hooters® salad dressings to be sold in retail supermarkets.

The variety will initially include Hooters® Bleu Cheese and Ranch dressings and will be offered in 12oz jars as the rest of the Naturally Fresh® dressings are packaged. The dressings will be merchandised in the refrigerated produce section of supermarkets.

We plan on this being the first of many signature restaurant branded products that we bring to the retail market. Naturally Fresh has expanded its line of products to include seven new items. The product launch includes an entire line of unique Vinaigrettes. In addition, Naturally Fresh is launching a Classic Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing and a Yogurt Ranch dressing – both extensions of existing product lines.

The new vinaigrettes are being marketed as Naturally Fresh® Fresh & Lite Vinaigrettes. The Classic Balsamic Vinaigrette is a bold, full flavored Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing. The dressing is made with real Balsamic Vinegar and added parmesan cheese. Naturally Fresh currently offers a Fat Free Balsamic Vinaigrette – the new product was developed to appeal to those customers looking for a full bodied Balsamic dressing.

The Yogurt Ranch dressing is a line extension of the existing line of Naturally Fresh® Ranch dressings. It utilizes a yogurt base to offer consumers significant nutritional benefits. The product contains only 50 calories per two tablespoon serving and contains only 4.5 grams of fat per serving.

All seven new varieties are merchandised in the refrigerated produce section with the other Naturally Fresh® dressings. The suggested retail price for all items is $3.39, however this will vary by region and retailer.

The initial reaction to the new dressing recipes has also developed some interest in the foodservice arena. The Classic Balsamic Vinaigrette and Chianti Red Wine Vinaigrette have already been packaged in bulk sizes and will be served on salads in several different restaurants.

Naturally Fresh, Inc. announced that its new distribution facility in Florida is now open. Due to tremendous increase in sales volume and customer growth, the Atlanta-based manufacturer of Naturally Fresh® Dressings, Sauces, and Dips purchased a 10 acre site for a distribution center in Sanford, FL, north of Orlando.

The new distribution center is a 31,000 square foot building. The facility will service a customer base that spans from North Central to Southern Florida.

“We are pleased to have the opportunity to demonstrate that even during a recession, growth and expansion are still possible,” said Naturally Fresh President and Chief Operating Officer Jerry Greene. Construction of the new facility was completed by McKee Construction, a Florida based Construction Company.

Currently, Naturally Fresh operates 22 branch distribution centers across the United States including facilities in Jacksonville and Fort Lauderdale. Naturally Fresh has expanded its brand into the Salad Topping category. The brand extension includes four varieties of all natural Pecan and Almond blends and will be merchandised in the produce section near their refrigerated salad dressings.

The new varieties were developed to complement their existing line of products and to further strengthen the Naturally Fresh brand name in the grocery store.
